Love Bomb Ring Wax, 2024.
This piece reflects on the tension between longing and restraint, on wanting to be enough without being too much. Drawn from my experiences of dating and mistaking intensity for intimacy, it considers the vulnerability of giving everything while anticipating loss. I set as many stones as I could into the wax, certain that some would not survive casting. It became a metaphor for emotional risk: for placing all my hopes in a fragile form, trusting I did all I could to make it work, and releasing control over the outcome.
